Setting Map Alias

Map alias allows creating a human-readable link for the map and having a production version of the map.

Go to the "Overview" editor tab. Choose a URL-frindly and available alias for the map. Click "Set Alias".

By default, all changes made are published to the map immediately. But changes to the map alias are propagated only when you "Publish" them.

So you can have a production version of the map now.

Open the "Share / Embed" dialog to get a link for the map alias.
